Mil Con Custom Homes was formed in 2005 by carpenters & cousins Julian (Jube), and Jesse Milsted, but their story goes back even further than that. Over the past 20 years they have lead crews, worked on challenging terrain, designed their own homes, and overseen over 30 unique, custom builds for clients, family, and friends.

While most of their projects have been residential builds in their hometown of Bowen Island, their trade has taken them up to raise a barn in Northern BC, and even down south to work on a new hotel build in the Bahamas.

Jube and Jesse come from a family of builders and creators. You may see Jesse and Jube’s dad’s work at beloved Granville Island restaurant Sandbar, or at The Tea House in Stanley Park.

Jess and Jube both graduated with their Red Seal in carpentry at BCIT, and have since mentored several of their crew through the program as well. They are blessed to work with some of their best friends, and have several experienced carpenters running the MilCon crew, ensuring lots of laughs and a smooth operation across their many ongoing projects.
